What better means to us
Our story
After adopting my first puppy, I found that choosing from many of the best pet products meant sacrificing on the style of my small apartment.
With that as my spark, I started LAY LO™ out of my garage with a mission to make products for my pets that I’d be proud to display in my home.
Over 5 years later, we've small team has continued that journey — designing over fifteen unique bed patterns, securing new retailer partners such as Nordstrom, Saks, and Anthropologie, and launching successful collaborations with visionary brands such as Etsy, Joseph Altuzarra, and Studio W.A.L.D.. We've even been featured in Fast Company, Elle Decor, Architectural Digest, and Dwell.
It's been a wild ride, and I can't wait for what's next.

Our journey
Humble Beginnings
We launched our first dog bed on Etsy made from upcycled fabrics we sourced globally. Starting from a garage, we made every bed made-to-order, and word got out.
First collections
Inspired by the global fabrics we found around the world, we developed a unique, yet durable knit material and launched our first collection, Boho, in May of 2019.
Etsy x Altuzarra

New collections
We continued to launch new patterns and colors, such as Terra, Sage, and Terrazzo — a launch complete with a photoshoot to benefit the animal shelter in Palm Springs.
Retailer Growth
We were humbled to have our products available at exclusive retailers such as Nordstrom, Saks, and Anthropologie.
Launched our first service: Homeschool
With Homeschool, we expanded on our mission of creating a better home for you and your pets with online, 1:1 expert help from trainers, nutritionists, and groomers.
